Training Programs for Pre-Service Teachers Conducted in Collaboration with ÖRAV

Two training programs for pre-service teachers were organized on 3–4 June 2026 through the collaboration between the Department of Primary Education at Fırat University Faculty of Education and Teacher Academy Foundation (ÖRAV). As part of the program, pre-service teachers participated in the training titled “Supporting Social Development in Primary Education” on the first day. The training focused on students’ social-emotional development processes, strengthening classroom interactions, and creating inclusive learning environments, providing participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical applications. On the second day, the “Sustainable Environmental Education” program addressed topics such as environmental awareness, sustainable living skills, and instructional practices related to environmental education. The training sessions were held in Classroom B101 and the Reading Hall of the Faculty of Education. Through hands-on activities and interactive workshops, pre-service teachers had the opportunity to gain valuable experiences that will contribute to their professional development. As the Department of Primary Education, we highly value such collaborations that support the academic, professional, and personal development of our pre-service teachers. We would like to thank the ÖRAV trainers for their contributions to the successful implementation of these programs and hope that the knowledge and experiences gained by our students will positively contribute to their future professional careers.
