Visit to Elazığ Science Center by Our First-Year Students

Our first-year students from the Department of Classroom Teaching at the Faculty of Education, Fırat University, visited the Elazığ Science Center within the scope of the course “Introduction to University Life.” The visit was carried out under the guidance of Res. Asst. Oğuzhan Toker. As part of the trip, students had the opportunity to closely explore the hands-on and interactive areas of the Science Center. They conducted various experiments using the setups designed for different scientific fields and actively participated in the activities by observing scientific processes. In addition, officials provided information about the ongoing projects and scientific activities carried out at the center. The 3D cinema and planetarium shows included in the visit program were followed with great interest by the students. Thanks to these presentations, students had the chance to experience scientific content in an enjoyable and visually enriched environment.

During the event, students not only made observations but also took part in workshop activities at the Science Center, such as canvas painting, where they showcased their creativity. The event, during which students had an enjoyable time both in terms of learning and social interaction, became a productive experience that supported their adaptation to university life in line with the objectives of the course.
